Description
The kimono is a traditional Japanese garment, literally meaning "a thing to wear." It's highly formal attire, typically worn for important ceremonies, festivals, or special occasions.
Kimono are T-shaped, straight robes with collars and wide sleeves, reaching the ankle. They're always wrapped left-over-right (except for the deceased) and secured with an Obi sash tied at the back. Traditional footwear (Zori or Geta) and split-toe Tabi socks complete the outfit.
